Wonderful!!! Clean and cute cottage close to the beach. There is everything you need to make you feel right at home. Loved the area and the private beach access was so nice. Relaxing vacation

Lasting Summer Memories Our family had a wonderful time staying at the cottage in Union Pier. The house is clean and has everything you need. We appreciate the nice little touches that provided a welcoming and awesome guest experience. i.e. local sightseeing information, a new kitchen sponge, the use of beach towels and umbrella, wagon and the yummy basket of muffins, etc. The property is large and we had a couple of BBQ dinners outside on the picnic bench. There is also a screened-in gazebo. Our dogs especially loved exploring the grounds and that it was fenced. The owners on the property are lovely and friendly. Thank you for your hospitality

This place is awesome!! My family of four fit super comfortably in this super clean and super well equipped home for making meals inside and grilled on the gas grill outside. Microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, great beds, artwork, photos, TVs, WiFi, beach chairs and toys. Towels for the shower and the beach (super great not to have to pack them). Outdoor shower helped to decrease the sand in the cottage and 2 indoor showers with great water pressure. We had 5 guests stay over 2 nights with no problem. The fenced in yard kept our fur baby happy(so dog friendly even bowls for food and water,) and the gazebo was wonderful to hang out in while keeping pests away. The yard is gorgeous and visited by many birds and owls. The neighbors were great. A short drive to everything, and a short walk to two restaurants. Our favorite part was the hop, skip and a jump to the private beach access where we swam daily and watched the majestic sunsets every evening. Thanks Nancy for welcoming us with fresh muffins, a bottle of great local wine and fresh flowers and sharing your home for memories of a lifetime! I could go on but I need a vacation from this fab vacation.

Relax,relax,relax We loved the country cottage, our stay was from July 2 to the 9th. The girls made it a cozy experience. The beach was a short walk, beautiful beach. Very friendly people in Union Pier, wonderful place for a vacation, and our dogs loved it too

We all had a wonderful time at the Country Cottage. What a great find! There was enough room for the 5 of us to not feel on top of each other. Having the 2 full baths was a major plus as well. Everything you would need was there. It was just perfect! Being able to walk to the beach was what we were looking for and the neighborhood was quaint and quiet. There's lots to do locally and day trips are plentiful. Just what we needed! Thanks for having us and for the welcome gifts, Nancy and Barbara. Hope to return again.

We had a wonderful time at the Country Cottage in Union Pier. This property is very well equipped and was very comfortable for our family. (2 adults, 2 children, and one additional adult for 2 days) The owner is very accommodating and answered our questions via email and phone promptly. Our two young children and two old dogs had a great time and so did we. Thank you!

My family and I spent a wonderful week at the country cottage. It is a lovely cottage. We have stayed other places in Union Pier and this cottage is wonderful! We are already planning our visit for next summer. Thank you for the muffins and bottle of wine and replacing the football!

Nancy, We had such a wonderful time at your cottage. The beach was beautiful and two evenings we spotted baby owls in the yard. It was so helpful to be close to the train. One daughter arrived by train and our son in law was able to return to work via the train. The week went by too fast. Thanks again.

We had a great time at the cottage. Very comfortable and relaxing. My son had a great time running around the spacious yard. All the amenities that any one needs. We are definitely looking forward to coming back next summer1

We really enjoyed the Union Pier community and little charming neighborhoods, the beach of course and going up to St. Joe for the Children's Museum, splash pad, carousel, beach, playground etc. So much to do! But mostly time spent with our kids and grandchildren. We were exhausted yesterday from all the fun (and work) we had with them. Thanks for making the cottage available to us. We were warmly welcomed with wine, flowers and muffins. It was really nice and we really enjoyed it. Thanks again and hope the rest of your summer is wonderful.

We rented this cottage for a holiday weekend and enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and in working condition, host was very kind and hospitable. We felt welcome and would consider coming back. Thank you!

The Country Cottage was AMAZING..!! Everything was clean, the people were friendly and the beach was just gorgeous. We had 6 people in our group and there was plenty of room for all of us and with 2 bathrooms and showers there was never an inconvenience. The only bad thing is we had to leave! I am definitely going to come back next year and years to follow. Date of stay: 8/27/10 – 8/29/10

Our visit at the Country Cottage was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the short easy walk to the amazing beach, the large well-kept yard, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults and 2 kids). It was beautifully and tastefully decorated and very clean with all the amenities and plenty of room to spread out or be together. We discovered Union Pier two years ago and discovered the Country Cottage this year. This is definitely our new favorite spot. We will be back!

We recently spent a week at the cottage and are spoiled! Not only is everything we could ask for available for our use, but there was so much to do. We especially enjoyed the beautiful sand beach with our grandkids. Who knew Lake Michigan could be so clear! We went blueberry, peach and raspberry picking. A "must" was Oink's for ice cream and St. Joseph for the "water pad." Thank you for a wonderful week--your hospitality is most appreciated. We'll be back!
